ATPM Public Health Internship Program – The ATPM Public Health Graduate Student Internship Program aims to enhance graduate students’ understanding of the public health system. ATPM Interns gain experience at federal, state, and local agencies or other public health organizations and are exposed to a variety of career options in public health. ATPM awards internship opportunities to preventive medicine students, residents, and full- or part-time graduate students enrolled in a public health or related graduate degree program at the Master’s level.

 

Marshfield Clinic Summer Research Internship in Epidemiology/Public Health – The primary goal of the internship is to provide a “hands on” research experience for students pursuing training in epidemiology, public health, nursing, social sciences, health promotion or related fields. The experience is targeted towards currently enrolled graduate students pursuing a master’s or doctorial degree.

 

Student Investigator Initiated Short Term Public Health Training Activities for Residents and Graduate Students – The Short-Term Training Activities in Public Health provide “hands-on” training experiences in Public Health Practice to preventive medicine residents, medical students and public health doctoral and graduate students. The training/research activities are to be completed within a maximum six month period.

 

Summer Internship Program in Biomedical Research Catalog

 

The Cooper Institute Internship Program – Internship Program The Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research has internship positions available for the spring, summer, and fall. Study tracks include the areas of Epidemiology, Clinical Applications, Continuing Education and Health Promotion. Specialties include exercise testing, wellness programs, children’s health, physical activity interventions, clinical trials, and health and fitness workshops.

 

The Center for Global Initiatives International Internship Awards – On a competitive basis, this program offers financial support to undergraduate and graduate students at UNC-Chapel Hill who have secured an internationally-focused internship. Students must secure their internship before applying for this award. Only returning students will be considered for funding.
